Terms and regulations

Fretuno terms of use

Effective date: 4 August 2026 · Version: 1.0

These terms govern the Android app, free electronic services and Fretuno Pro subscriptions offered to EU consumers.

1. Provider

Fretuno is provided by Yetly Jakub Kosiński, a sole trader entered in CEIDG, address: Brzozy-Brzeziny 13, 05-220 Zielonka, Polska, NIP 5272920562, REGON 385508094; email and complaints: [email protected]; telephone: +48 782 785 669. These terms also constitute the regulations for electronically supplied services.

2. Scope and age

Fretuno is an educational Android app for ear training, music theory, fretboard practice, a tuner and local progress tracking. It does not guarantee a particular learning result. The service is intended for EU consumers aged 16 or over. A paid order must be placed by an adult or with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. Technical requirements

  • A compatible device running Android 8.0 or later and a current Google Play environment.
  • Internet access is required for the remote lesson catalogue, entitlement verification, purchase/restore, export and server-side deletion. Network charges may apply.
  • A speaker or headphones may be needed for listening exercises. Microphone permission is optional and required only for the tuner and live-pitch tasks.
  • The user is responsible for device security, lawful software and installing updates made available through Google Play.
  • Typical risks include loss of local data after uninstalling or clearing storage, unauthorized access on a compromised or unlocked device, malicious software, network or store outages and inaccurate microphone detection. Use a screen lock, current system and app versions, export important progress and never disclose session secrets.

4. Agreement and termination

The terms and privacy information are linked on the first onboarding screen. The indefinite free-service agreement is concluded when you select “Set up my training” and begin configuration. It may be ended at any time by deleting all data and uninstalling the app. No named Fretuno account is required; the backend uses a pseudonymous session.

A Pro order is placed in Google Play. Before confirming, Google Play shows the product, localized total price, billing period, trial eligibility and renewal terms. The store confirmation and these terms form the contract information.

5. Free and Pro

Free includes the functions shown in the app within the displayed limits. Pro unlocks paid controls, longer or expanded practice and premium lessons shown on the current paywall. The current feature division may be improved, but an already-paid period will not be materially reduced without a lawful reason and an appropriate remedy.

Prices, billing periods, any trial and the post-trial price are taken live from Google Play and displayed before the order. The paywall does not claim that the yearly plan is always cheaper.

6. Renewal, payment and cancellation

Pro is an automatically renewing subscription unless the Google Play offer explicitly says otherwise. After any eligible trial, Google Play charges the displayed recurring price. Payment is handled by Google Play. Cancel renewal in Google Play subscriptions before the next charge; access normally continues until the end of the paid period. Deleting Fretuno data or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Restore purchases is available in the app.

Google Play may process refund requests through its interface. This does not limit mandatory consumer claims that may be made directly to the provider.

7. Right of withdrawal

A consumer generally has 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. If an ongoing digital service begins during that period at the consumer’s express request, a proportionate amount may be due after withdrawal where the law so provides. The right expires early only in the narrow statutory cases: in particular, after a service is fully performed with the required prior statements, or for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium after the required express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation. Instructions and a model statement are available on the Withdrawal page.

8. Conformity and updates

We are responsible for conformity of digital content and services as required by applicable consumer law. We provide security and functional updates needed to maintain conformity for the legally required period. If Fretuno is not in conformity, a consumer may request that it be brought into conformity and, where statutory conditions are met, a price reduction or termination/refund. Store mechanisms do not replace these rights.

9. Complaints

Send a complaint to [email protected] or the provider’s postal address. Include contact details, a description, relevant date, app version and the requested solution; do not send passwords, tokens or unrelated recordings. We will respond within 14 days of receipt. Lack of a response within a mandatory statutory period has the consequence provided by law.

10. Acceptable use

  • Do not break security controls, scrape private lesson endpoints, interfere with the service, bypass Pro access or use another person’s purchase rights.
  • Do not upload or transmit unlawful code or content, impersonate others or infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights.
  • Reasonable security restrictions or suspension may be used to stop abuse, with notice and a remedy where required by law.

11. Intellectual property and licence

Fretuno, its name, logo, software, lesson text, exercises, graphics and arrangement are protected. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the installed app for lawful learning during the agreement. No ownership is transferred. Statutory rights to quote, interoperate or make permitted backup copies remain unaffected.

12. Local data and availability

Training history is primarily local. Export it before clearing app storage or uninstalling; it cannot be recovered from the Fretuno server. Maintenance, failures or third-party store outages can temporarily interrupt remote features. We use reasonable care and will give notice of planned material discontinuation where practicable and legally required.

13. Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumer rights, intentional harm, personal injury or mandatory product/digital-service liability. Outside mandatory liability, the provider is responsible under applicable law for foreseeable loss caused by failure to perform. Fretuno is an educational aid and not professional medical or hearing advice.

14. Law, disputes and changes

Polish law applies, without depriving an EU consumer of mandatory protection of the country of habitual residence. Consumers may use an authorized consumer ADR body and the competent common courts. Information on Polish consumer assistance is available from UOKiK and local consumer ombudsmen.

Terms or an ongoing digital service may change without additional cost for legal, security, technical or functional reasons stated here. We will provide clear information and, where a change materially and negatively affects access or use, advance notice on a durable medium and the statutory right to terminate within 30 days, unless access to the unchanged service is maintained without additional cost. A change will not retroactively reduce an already-paid period.
